On a beautiful spring evening (although with the temperature
nearing 90 degrees, it could have been a summer evening), members of the B7
Ward along with family, friends and neighbors – about 150 in total - gathered
at Christensen Park in Bloomington for a pot luck picnic. The menu included delicious fruit salads, green
salads, potato salads, and amazing desserts provided by ward members and
hamburgers and hot dogs with traditional toppings, provided by the ward and grilled
by our own Bishop Mike Bair. The evening
also included music by Scott Ford and Boyd Kanenwisher, joined by some talented ward members for a hilarious version of "Old McDonald." Thanks to all who contributed to the success
of this fun evening.
