The "first ever" inaugural Relief Society "Walk Around the Block" event was held on April 27, a perfect St. Gorgeous Saturday morning. The turnout was small - although Bloomington 7th Ward was well represented - but there was a great deal of enthusiasm among the 20 (or so) participants for the 2.5 mile walk around the Bloomington Stake. It was great fun to get some exercise, enjoy the beautiful weather and walk and talk with those we love and admire! There was even a walkers repast waiting at the end of the trail complete with fresh fruit, breads and bottled water. Hopefully this activity will happen again.

Sarah Larson, youngest of Aaron and Rebecca Larson's five children, was baptized by her father and confirmed by her Grandpa Dave Larson on Saturday, March 30 at the Bloomington Stake Center surrounded by family and friends from California, northern Utah and from her own neighborhood and ward. Sarah, who reached the age of accountability earlier in the month, has learned at home and in Primary about the importance of baptism by immersion which represents the burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and serves as a reminder to Sarah of her promise to follow the Savior and keep His commandments.
